Share music, not personal information

This text-only community is for choir discussion, not confidential communications. All signed-in, verified members, including Free members, can read posts and comments. Members can copy or screenshot text. There are no attachments, private messages, searchable member profiles, or public member lists.

Your random, persistent nickname is shown instead of your account name or email. This is pseudonymity, not complete anonymity: Jari retains a private account association for ownership, deletion and moderation. The site operator and infrastructure providers can process this data. Do not post real names, student details, addresses, contact details, choir rosters, private communications or other identifying information. Automated contact/link filters cannot catch everything.

Respect people and their work

Be respectful. No harassment, impersonation, hate, spam or personal attacks. Discuss repertoire by title and composer, but do not reproduce copyrighted scores, lyrics or material you lack permission to share. Do not post private information about yourself or others. Jari accounts, including community participation, are for adults aged 18 or older under the Terms. Do not create an account or post if you are under 18. This rule is not technical age verification.

Translation

This version does not call a paid translation service or automatically send posts to a translation server. The Translate button uses the browser's on-device Translator API where supported, after you click it; a language model may need to download. Otherwise it explains how to select or copy the original into a browser or translation app. Those services may process text under their own privacy policies. Translated text is temporary on your device, not saved as a community translation. The original remains unchanged. Availability varies by device, language and region; translations may be inaccurate. Private Jari workspace data is not automatically posted to the community.

Control, reports and retention

You can edit or permanently delete your own posts and comments. Deleting a thread also deletes its replies and translation cache from the active community database. Reports are visible to the operator as counts; report records are retained privately for moderation. The operator may hide content and restore it after review. Hidden content remains in the database until deleted; hiding is not deletion. Deleting your Jari account deletes its community posts and comments; replies in your deleted threads are also removed. Provider backups and copies made by other members may remain under their respective retention practices. Reports are not an emergency service.
